Ten years of building something meaningful deserves more than a calendar notification and a Slack or teams message. When Hippo Digital, a Leeds-based digital services consultancy, reached their 10th anniversary in April 2026, they wanted to add something to the celebration. And they chose biscuits.

Here's how it came together.

The Client

Hippo Digital is a UK digital transformation consultancy founded in Leeds in 2016. They are known for their people-first culture. When their 10th anniversary arrived, they wanted the celebration to reflect exactly who they are: thoughtful, human, and genuinely proud of what they've built together.

How It Started

The connection between The Biskery and Hipp Digital began through She Can Shine, a Leeds-based women's business community. Liz Whitefield from Hippo Digital met Lisa (co-founder of The Biskery) through the community. That introduction turned into a conversation, and that conversation turned into an order.

After seeing one of our signature jam biscuits with their logo cut out, they opted for exactly that biscuit. This jam biscuit provides a classic shape with real visual warmth. Each biscuit is always handmade in Leeds. And these were branded exclusively to mark the 10-year milestone.

What This Order Shows Is Possible

Hippo - Designing with empathy, building for impact

This is a useful example for any business thinking about how biscuits can work as part of an internal celebration. A few things worth noting:

  • Scale is flexible. 50 biscuits work well for a team moment, a meeting, or a milestone drop at HQ

  • Branding is built in. Every biscuit can carry your logo, a date, a number, a message. The personalisation is part of the making

  • No minimum occasion required. Work anniversaries, product launches, award wins, team away days: the brief shapes the biscuit

  • Delivery is direct. Biscuits are dispatched straight to your door, no faff

If your business has a milestone coming up and you want to mark it with something people will actually talk about, get in touch. We'll take it from there.

Tea and Biscuits: A Love Story 300 Years in the Making

Tea arrived in Britain when Catherine of Braganza, a Portuguese princess, married King Charles II in 1662. She brought with her an ardent love of the beverage, and the British court followed her lead.

The East India Company, ever attentive to where appetite and opportunity overlapped, secured exclusive rights to import tea from China in 1669. Within a century, what had begun as an aristocratic indulgence had quietly become a household fixture.
