The Brief
Dulcie, from Events Manager at Cater London, came to us with a brief that had a hard deadline, a high-profile client, and real complexity underneath it. Cater London had been commissioned to help bring the Coca-Cola Cherry launch event to life, and they wanted something guests would actually remember. The idea: bespoke embossed cherry jam biscuits, inspired by the classic Jammy Dodger, served at the event on 17th April 2026.
The original ask was that the branding needed to be embossed directly into the biscuit, with a heart-shaped cut-out that let the cherry jam show through.
The Challenges
A few things made this order more involved than it might appear on the surface.
- A tasting stage:Â Before Coca-Cola signed off, physical samples were required for a tasting session, so they could approve the product with confidence. When Dulcie got the client sign-off, her message read:Â "They want to go ahead!!!! Signed off."

Bespoke embosser design:Â The Coca-Cola Cherry logo had to be scaled precisely to work on a 6cm biscuit while keeping the heart cut-out intact and branding legible.

Sourced-to-order ingredient:Â Cherry jam is not a standard stock item; we confirmed availability with our supplier before committing to the order.

Allergen requirements:Â 100 biscuits needed to be plant-based with non-gluten-containing ingredients, individually packaged with bespoke allergen labels that had to be ordered and affixed within a narrow production window.
How We Worked
This kind of order calls for collaboration, not just order processing. When the logo size presented a challenge, we made test biscuits and shared images before production began, so there were no surprises.Â
We also suggested a practical detail that made a real difference on the day: the allergen biscuits were shaped into a distinct oval, making them instantly identifiable from the standard fluted biscuits during serving. Simple, but it mattered.
When the bespoke allergen labels arrived just days before the scheduled ship date, we adjusted production to begin the moment they landed and upgraded postage to guarantee on-time delivery.
The Result
400 bespoke Coca-Cola Cherry jam biscuits arrived with Cater London on 16th April, ready for the event the following day. 300 were standard fluted, 100 allergen-friendly oval. Every single one was embossed with the Coca-Cola Cherry logo and filled with cherry jam through the heart cut-out.
