We love bringing your biscuit designs to life! However, we are unable to print images, logos, or designs that you do not own or have permission to use. This is because of something called copyright.

What is copyright infringement?

Copyright is a law that protects the work of creators, such as photos, logos, cartoon characters or artwork. If someone else created the image or design, they own the rights to it. Using their work without permission is called copyright infringement. It is a bit like copying someone’s homework and putting your name on it. It is not allowed.

Why this matters to you, us and the original creator

If we print a copyrighted design onto our biscuits without the owner’s permission, both you (the customer) and we (the business) could face legal consequences under UK copyright law:

  1. You could be held responsible (sued for damages) for using it without approval, even if it was an accident.

  2. Our business could face serious legal trouble, including fines or lawsuits, for producing unauthorised copies.

  3. The original creator loses control of how their work is used, which is unfair and illegal.

What you can do

Use your own photos, drawings, or designs (you automatically own the copyright!).
✅ Ask the creator for written permission if you love a specific design.
✅ Check royalty-free image websites (like Canva) for safe-to-use artwork.

We want to help you create amazing looking and tasting biscuits safely & legally!

Let’s work together in safeguarding all biscuit designs. 🍪✨
