We are Fundraising for Candlelighters

September marks Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and at The Biskery, we are proud to announce our support for Candlelighters.

This incredible Yorkshire charity brings light, hope, and practical help to children diagnosed with cancer and their families. Throughout the month, we are dedicated to raising both funds and awareness, playing our part in the fight against childhood cancer.

Why Candlelighters Matters

Candlelighters delivers essential emotional, practical, and financial support from the moment of diagnosis, remaining by the side of families for as long as they are needed. Their holistic approach ensures children and families have access to therapy, guidance, financial relief, and research-backed hope for better treatments in the future. They receive no government funding, meaning the support of local businesses and the community is absolutely vital.

How We’re Supporting Candlelighters

This September, The Biskery is giving back in the spirit of kindness:

• We are gifting free, personalised biscuits to families and children in the Candlelighters network, spreading small moments of joy when they’re needed most.

• Our messaging and campaigns encourage the wider Biskery community to learn about Candlelighters’ work and support their mission.

• At checkout and across our digital channels, we are actively asking for donations. 100% of all funds raised go directly to Candlelighters to help continue their incredible work supporting families across Yorkshire.
