Biscuits can help connect
This past year we baked and decorated 16.000 biscuits by hand. Some were jammed, some hand-iced, some rice paper printed; all delicious. Some were ordered by you to send to your friends & family, others to employees, prospects, influencers, but all with the purpose to connect.
In a year where we thought we’d have to close the business for some time, we are so incredibly humbled by the fact that you came to us in droves. You saw our personalised biscuits as a great way to stay connected with those who were so harshly cut loose from one moment to the next.

Kindness biscuits
This need stay connected became so apparent during the first lockdown that we decided to send out hundreds of free kindness biscuits. We wanted to do our small bit to bring people closer together (in a time of social distancing). We will never ever forget the warm messages of heartfelt gratitude that filled our inbox as people started to receive their biscuits. Our biscuits have always put smiles on people’s faces but in these times the effect was all the greater.
Corporate orders
Later in the year as businesses opened their doors again we sent out so many biscuits for the likes of big Law firms like Sharpe Pritchard. Fashion brands like Pretty Lavish, professional service agencies like KPMG and Accenture and a whole host of others. And in a shift from normal procedures, most orders were sent straight to employees, clients and influencers’ home addresses.

Christmas
And Christmas, what can we say about Christmas other than that seemingly there was never a time more deserving of the specific warmth that sometimes only Christmas spices can bring.
 
 
Goodbye 2020
It’s been a year of grieving for what we lost, adapting to new realities, changing attitudes, recalibration and of kindness. It’s been a year to never forget, each for our own reasons.
We would like to take this moment to thank you unreservedly for having let us play our small part in your 2020.
